Gallagher Shatter has always had a very substantial practice in the area of wills and probate. We can advise you on all aspects of will making, including establishing trusts. We can tell you what the taxation consequences of making a will are and advise you how to mitigate tax. We have had long standing experience in probate matters and the administration of estates. We have been involved regularly in litigation involving wills and the entitlements of family members. We acted in a landmark Case involving the rights of disinherited children. We have taken a special interest in retirement, and our Managing Partner Brian Gallagher has been chairman of the Retirement Planning Council of Ireland.
