About Ciara

Ciara is a partner with special focus on Family Law and contentious matters and is the Firm’s Managing Partner.


She is recognised as a leading practitioner in the area of family law and has twenty years’ experience in all aspects of family law, with particular experience in complex, high value asset Judicial Separation and Divorce cases, many with an international dimension, where laws of differing jurisdictions compete with one another. She is regularly consulted in complex custody and access marital and non-marital disputes, including parental alienation, child abduction and relocation cases.  She has a particular knowledge and understanding of pensions in family law cases. 

She is consulted in adoption cases, both domestic and inter-country.

Ciara is a proud fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers, a worldwide association of practising lawyers, recognised by their peers as the most experienced and skilled family law specialists in their respective countries.

Aidan is partner with particular emphasis on family law and civil litigation.


Aidan is widely acknowledged as one of the leading practitioners in family law in the State. He has over 30 years’ experience and expertise in all aspects of family law all areas of civil litigation to include the areas of personal injuries, medical negligence and defamation. Aidan has acted as Solicitor in both the Circuit Court and High Court.

About Catherine

Catherine is one of the foremost Child Law practitioners in Ireland.


Catherine provides advice on all aspects of public law involving children. Catherine works extensively on behalf of children who are the subject of care order applications and who are at risk. Cognisant of the sensitivities involved and vulnerability of many of her clients, Catherine represents children through court appointed guardians ad litem. Catherine also represents natural parents in child care proceedings and provides advice for foster-carers.


Catherine’s practice includes taking cases against the State where children are at risk and advises on the constitutional position of Children and the Family. Catherine has an exceptional track record of advocating on behalf of children's rights in the public law field and is one of the leading voices in the campaign to promote children’s rights through Constitutional change.
