1987 – Alan Shatter introduces, as a private members bill, the Judicial separation and Family Law Reform Bill (enacted in 1989 introducing judicial separation to Ireland)
1988 - Aidan Reynolds joins firm

1995 – Family Law Act
1996 – Ciara Matthews joins the firm
1996 – Family Law (Divorce) Act
1998 – Firm merges with Kevin O’Herlihy & Co
